Gringotts Needs Work

I have to say that even though a poster on here has been kind of chided about complaining about pain on the ride don't dismiss it out of hand. I rode it for the first time yesterday. It was painful. Not in the same way that the previous poster reported though. The ride broke down 3 times while I was on it. Felt like being stuck for an eternity but I would estimate at it about 30 minutes total. I was in the back row. Im 5 feet 4 inches tall and my feet didn't reach the floor. My legs went completely asleep and it got pretty painful. There's no way to readjust your position once strapped in so i couldn't do anything to relieve the pins and needles. Not the best first ride ever but Im going to try it again today. They did give everyone a fastpass for the ride that's good for a couple of weeks. I am going to politely refuse being in the back row though.

I think getting stuck on any ride seat for 30 minutes would hurt........we got stuck on RRR earlier last week just before it reached the top........it was scary but uncomfy as well.

My feet do touch the floor on the first 4 rows without stretching.....on the back row I can stretch a bit but they don't sit flat to the floor.

Ride seats are never going to be designed for long term comfort.

Amazing ride though......:thumbsup2

RRR was stuck like that in August when I was in IOA. That must be very uncomfortable! Sorry they happened to you!

Its still a fairly new ride and very new technology. Most of the time, everything works but like anything, sometimes it doesn't. I believe they are still working everything out.

As previously being a bigger person, I cannot understand why people continue to not try the test seats and then complain about the ride. Seriously???

The test seats are there for a reason. Try them. If you don't fit or you are not comfortable - do NOT ride. There are about a million warnings for Gringott's not to ride with these conditions, etc. Obviously poster who complained a bunch earlier in thread, ignored all of that. If he was in the crazy amounts of pain, he would have said something immediately or at least by that first turn stopping area. You are there for at least a minute or two. If I was in pain, I would be waving my arms like I am trying to land an airplane to get attention.
