Looking forward to this. When we were there last, 2 years ago, they had stopped doing Grinchmas.

We did enjoy the parade though.

Will there be fireworks on NYE???

We are thinking of bringing in the NY at US or IOA but don't know if there's something special happening that night

We'll it be hard to go in the site (like Disney) if we don't get there early in the morning

Fireworks are doubtful due to the construction of HP at IOA.

Thanks for posting that info. I had scheduled IOA for 5 December and would have been really dissapointed to have missed out on Grinchmas.

If you wanted to venture downtown, you should check out Lake Eola...LOTS of people are there and it's prime real estate for the fireworks. Also...the downtown clubs aren't too far away if you're in the mood. If you're going to be staying near Disney, you also check out Old Town in Kissimmee...that would be closer.

In that case...I would stick with Old Town for the fireworks.

Well, that's a bummer... we'll be there the 4th & 5th... I assumed they'd start their holiday stuff at Thanksgiving like Disney does
