Okay. I have checked all the menus....I am having a hard time finding many places that have any grilled chicken...salads, sandwiches, anything. Has anyone ever requested grilled chicken anywhere and had luck? Seriously, I would like to eat grilled chicken for lunch and dinner my whole stay. Any suggestions???

Also, Here are the places on QSDP that I have found acceptable, healthy food.

Epcot:
Sunshine season

MK:
Cosmic Rays (The best one I have found)

AK:
Flame Tree BBQ

HS: Nothing yet.

Thanks for any ideas!

a chicken wrap at Pecos Bill's that is somewhat healthy. (Definitions of healthy vary.) The Mediterranean Salad at Pinocchio Haus is not dressed and there are low fat dressings available. The chicken is poached possibly? There is mozzarella but it is easy, and worthwhile, to avoid. I consider the tuna sandwich and the hummus sandwich healthy at Columbia Harbor House.

Tangierine Cafe in Epcot has a vegetarian platter.

In DHS - both Backlot Studios and Studio Catering have roasted vegetable sandiches. Studio Catering also has a good chicken wrap.

I don't think it's actually grilled chicken, but

Sunshine Seasons at Epcot and Cosmic Rays at MK both have a 1/2 chicken that is more like rotissierie chicken.

Flame Tree at AK and Fairfaxe Fare at HS also have a BBQ Chicken. Flame Tree does have a smoked turkey sandwich which is close.

Tangeriene Cafe at Morocco in Epcot has a schwarma chicken which is very close to grilled. It's not a breast, but slices of a very delicious chicken breast.

Some of the resort QS also have some kind of chicken. I'm pretty sure Pepper Mkt at Coronado does and probably Port Orleans Riverside has something. Did you check the resort QS? Contempo Cafe has some healthier options.

I'm not sure where you are staying but I found pop century to have alot of healthy options. We went for 10 days last year I only ate a burger once beacuse I wanted to. It was at Peco's I had my burger. Have you thought about starring rolls at HS. They had some nice sandwhices there. I usually have places hold the mayo and they have always done it for me.

We try to avoid eating at HS b/c I don't like the choices...usually use snacks there & head to DTD. Don't forget WPX & Earl at DTD as there are EXCELLENT salad choices. WPX also has excellent salmon.

I will be staying at All Star Sports resort. I didn't see any grilled chicken there even though they have "The Grill."
I did look at Starring Rolls, which would work, but there was nothing there for children other than PBJ and that won't cut it. I know I could stop there but I didn't know if an extra restaraunt stop would take too long. I imagine the lines will be long for these places right?

What is WPX? I think we're only planning on DTD for one evening.
I figure if I could get some grilled chicken at the all star sports, I could just eat lunch there every day while we go back for a mid afternoon break and go from there but it doesn't look like a possibility.

WPX = Wolfgang Puck Express. I had to think about that one!

I remember getting a grilled chicken caesar salad at Sunshine Seasons. Although I think the dressing was already on it.

Liberty Inn has a chicken sandwich, not sure if it's grilled.

Found grilled chicken sandwiches at some of the resorts:

Gasparilla Grill
Food courts at POR & POFQ
Roaring Fork at WL
Captain Cooks at Polynesian - shows chicken sandwich, not sure if grilled

I'm surprised more locations don't have it.

I'm very surprised more places don't offer it. Even the rinky dink amusement parks in the Northeast that are only open for the summer offer grilled chicken. I did find several of the chicken wraps at Pecos Bill and Pinochio Faus but I'm assuming most of those are not grilled?? Thanks for the suggestions so far.

Are you looking for grilled chicken for children? That's going to be hard to find at CS on the dining plan. Awhile back all the kids menus were switched to grilled chicken nuggets (which were usually served cold) but there was such an outcry that most places, if not all, went back to breaded chicken.

I have had the chicken wrap at Pecos Bill. There are no grill marks on the chicken, but it is not fried. Does it have to be grilled with grill marks on it? They do put some sort of dressing on the wrap.

La Cantina de San Angel at Epcot has grilled chicken tacos.

To answer one of your questions - you can ask for grilled chicken at any place but your chances of getting it at a restaurant where it is not on the menu are very slim to none. If they don't regularly serve it they will not have the ingredients to grill just for you.

I am looking for grilled chicken for an adult. I just want healthy, low fat, protein meals.

New question....
The end zone has (Dinner only) options that are quite healty...salmon and baked chicken. What are the chances I could get this ordered for lunch? We plan on going back to the hotel every day for a break anyways so that would work. Has anyone ever tried this???

Hollywood Studios: Fairfax Fare has a 1/2 chicken served with beans & coleslaw. Probably rotisserie, not grilled but you could remove the skin & it would be healthier.

Also Toy Story Pizza Planet has a salad with grilled chicken that looks pretty good. Doesn't look like it has cheese, either.

Epcot: Liberty Inn in the American Pavillion has a chicken sandwich with apple slices as a side offering. I don't remember 100%, but I'm pretty sure this is grilled. If nothing else, they offer a grilled chicken wraap on the children's menu. You could always get that.

Yakitori House in Japan has a teriyaki salmon or chicken. Both served with rice & vegetables.

You could ask, but more than likely they won't be able to do this because all of the prep area and kitchen staff are busy with lunch items at the food court. Can you plan your break for the beginning of the dinner hour?

If you are limiting yourself to grilled chicken at lunch and dinner every day, have you considered upgrading to the TS dining plan? It will give you more restaurant options and it's only about $10 day more than the QS plan.

First off, Thank you for offering advice. I appreciate your input. Here's what I have so far:

Sunday, June 19th MK
Cosmic Rays and Pecos Bill's

Monday-HS
Planet Pizza and Fairfax Faire or Studio Catering

Tuesday-AK
Flame Tree BBQ and Earl in DTD

Wed- MK again
Cosmic Rays and End Zone

Thurs- Epcot
Sunshine Season and Liberty Inn

Any other suggestions are greatly appreciated. I've looked the menus over and over but it's so easy to miss things.. For example, The Liberty Inn was a great suggestion. Thanks.

I am also a grilled chicken fan!! You need to be aware that the grilled chicken sandwich options that you can find, like at Liberty Inn, are pretty bad. You can do OK, but just expect it to be just so-so. The rotissierie chicken is much better when you can find it. Good luck!!!

I always ask for no dressing on my salads and also on the wrap at PB (had it many times) and they have no problem leaving it off. :)

The last time I had a grilled chicken salad at Liberty Inn was the last time we went there .... 3 years ago. I have never gone back. But it is the only time have had a really awful CS meal at Disney. CS meals are not all equal by any means, but as mentioned earlier on here, some are better than others.

Thanks for the advice about the Liberty. Maybe I will substitute it for The Tangierine Cafe???
