Grey Goose Slush

Bahhhhh! What's THAT all about!!!? :confused3 Heck, I hope you walked into the wine store in France and got a champagne or at least a Kir Royal to ease your pain!!!:scared1::rotfl2:

We walked down to Italy and I enjoyed a RR. Very tasty and a little cheaper too!

Seriously they are in a small plastic martini glass & they are good, but for $9.00, they don't last very long. ;)

The following is not my image, but I googled it & it was the first image that appeared so thanks to the originator!

Thanks for this ! ^

Of all the message boards I post on, Dis is the only one I can't figure out how to post images on.... Ahh well....

You're welcome, but simple instructions...

you right click the image you want to post, highlight properties & copy, when you go to post, look at the tools on top of the message box, click the little yellow postcard with the mountains (delete http:// because it's already under properties that you just highlighted) & paste.

Or you could just put
...it works either way.

If you right click on the image below & look at properties...you'll see what I mean! You can preview post to see if it works.

Sorry a bit :offtopic: but for those that have never had Rose Regale in Italy, stop in the wine shop there & try a glass if you like the sweet bubbly stuff. It is really delicious & they offer dark chocolate to go with it. I find the chocolate makes the wine taste bitter, but I'll never pretend my tastes are refined. ;)

Oh Mama! That sounds good- I am putting it "in the vault" for the next vacation- I just told DH so we both can try and remember! Bubbly and chocolate! CHECK! :worship:

Grey Goose looks good, but I am thinking it would be a total brain freeze so I may have to skip it.

Is that the same stand that has crêpes?

The Rose Regale and dark chocolate sounds delish! (says the girl who had a glass of pinotage (dark red) wine with a chocolate fudge pop tart snack this evening -- no lie!) I'm putting that on my "must try" list.

:offtopic: Sorry, I just wanted to say thanks for the picture-posting instructions! This is my first successful picture! :worship:

And back on-topic, after reading all about the GG slushie, I cannot wait to try one this Oct!!! :cool1:

My kind of woman! Dark chocolate and pinotage.....nothing better.
I'll pretend I didn't see the pop tart part. :rotfl:

They sell this at my local liquor stores. Usually the price varies between $20-$25. I love it and could easily drink the whole bottle in one sitting.:rotfl2: It is good with chocolate too!:thumbsup2 Not so great with other foods but who needs anything else with chocolate and wine?

My DH and I were JUST talking about the Rose Regale!!! That it is the BOMB!!!! (I just like it at Disney though!!!)

Considering it's WDW, $9 really isn't that bad at all. DW and I usually share 2 on a somewhat empty stomach. We're both drinkers that usually share a bottle of wine with dinner. If you drink it somewhat quickly you def have a nice healthy buzz going on. It helps that you're somewhat forced to drink it quickly because of the melting factor. Overall it's one of our fave drinks on wdw property. Unfortunately you can not take them through the intl gateway.

YES!! :goodvibes

I was surprised last Oct it was $19 at the store in Italy - and I had shipped a bottle to the resort - and paid $19 at my wine store!!

(has someone posted pics of the Grey goose/ Gran Marnier slush? - for me, I love love Gran Marnier, putting it in a slush, just confuses me - dh loves it, its rich, warm, whereas the Grey Goose is lemony and refreshing when its so hot out! burst of sour goodness!)

ETA - found my pictures -

dh always orders the orange Gran Marnier - and we share - I dont want to share sometimes, but since I do like gran marnier - its just so different!

I think since the Grey Goose is so sweet/sour taste, (lemony) that I expect the Gran Marnier to have a tartness to it - and it doesnt - its just Gran Marnier!!

yup, found that out the hard way (had to down the GG & GM slushies, & get a margarita for laying by the BWV quiet pool instead:cloud9:).

Friendly warning---we got these on our way out of the park and planned on walking to the Boardwalk. Security stopped us and told us that we couldn't leave the park with the drinks. Great idea, but it won't work!
Isn't that why we take our refillable mugs to Epcot with us??? They would hold two slushies I would imagine!!!

Yep..that's what we did last Sept. Some other ladies and I sat out in front of France, at a table, for close to 3 hrs. Had some slushies, solved the problems of the world, and the DIS, then walked down to Italy for a glass, or two, of RR!!! That had to be the best day in WDW I've had in a very long time...then dinner at LeCellier, much later.

I am sure that someone would find SOMETHING wrong with this idea

The drink stand from our table at Les Chefs de France and you can see there's a little seating area to the right of the stand.
