Grey Goose Slush

That little stand is my favorite place in the World; but I'm a champagne drinker (at WDW only). My DD and her husband love the Grey Goose slushie. We have tried to duplicate it and can't quite get it right - and I own a bar and put my bartenders to work on it but....just isn't quite the same.

My profile picture is me holding one....Yum Yum Yum

The place to get them is in France on the lagoon side!
ENJOY!!!

o last night i told my mother about these, We are going to try both slushes at france and maybe some other drinks in the world.

I thought they were pretty light on the goose so I just grab a beer at Germany or a Sam Adams at the US instead.

Does this stand accept cash only? I was thinking we went there during FW one year and they didn't accept room charge/credit cards.

That is what I was going to ask, how strong are they?? I love my Grey Goose, but have yet to try one. I wonder if they can give you a double shot of the goose:thumbsup2 "double goose me"

I was pretty disappointed with the Fiesta Margarita in Mexico, all I got was a brain freeze :headache:

If you're a professional drinker like me you will be disappointed (and ditto on the fiesta margarita).

Oh:guilty: I need the buzz factor in addition to the Grey Goose yum factor, otherwise, it is a waste of my time......and money. I wonder if they will just stare at me if I ask for an extra shot, or 2;) or better yet, "bring my own" and slip a little extra in there.

Same with beer, I like my beer to have a nice heavy flavor- I like the dark beers, none of that light stuff.:snooty::rotfl2:

These sound so good, but the fact that I'll be pregnant for our trip, just means I'll have to wait until our next trip.
My DH would probably love them though :)

I think it's premixed - like a slurpy machine. I don't recall them pouring the grey goose and the mix, just pumping it out of the machine. Mine was melting quickly so I chugged it, and got a little buzz, but it went away quickly. Tasted yummy, though!

Here's the thing with these in terms of buzz factor: They're so yummy and they start to melt so fast that you drink them in a hurry. I was only in England when I finished mine and the buzz definitely hit me although it went away fast.

A head down shot on mine:

Are you planning a trip I don't know about? Why else would I find you on a random booze thread? I, of course, was wondering about the booze content as well. People are always talking about how strong some of the drinks are(the Lapu Lapu for example) and I'm thinking "Dang, they sure wouldn't like the ones I make.":rotfl2:

Maybe they are "light weights":lmao:

I am not "technically" planning a trip right now. I refer to the next trip as the "MAYYYYYYYYBE 2010" trip:rotfl2:

I figure, if DH gets used to me saying 2010 a lot, he won't be shocked when I book it and I say, "I have been telling you about this trip for 1 year and a half now, you never listen to me!" "ugh!" :rotfl2:

I keep mentioning things like, "you know, IF we end up going to Disney in 2010- I would like to use our TS credits at the (2) credit restaurants so we do not have too much running aorund to do"

"IF we go in 2010, I would like to just relax during the day and do the parks at night"

"IF we go in 2010, we should stay at the BW so we can just walk to Epcot and DHS this way we do not spend much time waiting for the buses"

See what I am doing there, making it all sound nice and relaxing- no kamakazi tripin' this time!;) (that is what has scared him off the past few trips!) I have my plan in order Marna!:cool1: WORKin' IT!:woohoo:

I like the GG and DH likes the GM. We took a trip without kids the first week of March and we were really looking forward to lots of slushies!!! Imagine the horror when we got there and found this....

Closed!! :scared1: Then sadness!! :sad1: This was a not so magical moment.
We recovered but in my head Disney is always open so to get to a favorite and find it closed took a little adjusting! :lmao:

Hahaha! I was just thinking this!

My OB told me that I could have a sip of champagne at a wedding I'm going to soon, now that I'm out of my first trimester, so I might have to ask if a single Grand Marnier slushie on vacation would be okay.:rotfl:

The only problem is they are so good. I sucked down three in about 30 minutes last year right before Illuminations, much to DH's wallet's dismay.

OK, maybe I will get two to go back to SAB:woohoo::woohoo:

CSBM

Friendly warning---we got these on our way out of the park and planned on walking to the Boardwalk. Security stopped us and told us that we couldn't leave the park with the drinks. Great idea, but it won't work!

Bahhhhh! What's THAT all about!!!? :confused3 Heck, I hope you walked into the wine store in France and got a champagne or at least a Kir Royal to ease your pain!!!:scared1::rotfl2:
