Greeters, greeters everywhere!! :)

Just thought I'd post that we've been in WDW for 10 days now, and despite what I've heard recently on here, we certainly have NOT noticed ANY shortage of awesome CMs greeting guests!

From MK to AK to DHS to EPCOT to hotels like BLT and AKL -- fantastic smiling, welcoming faces in abundance at park openings and other times!!

That's all... just sharing that anecdotal info from a family that's been coming multiple times a year for the last 11yrs.

To all those with upcoming trips, enjoy the magic... it's still very much alive!!

I love the greeters! They make me smile inside and out!

We were there Thursday and Friday and noticed a LOT of CMs in 'training'. They were all great!

Greeters are great, but they're there for security disguised as "greeters."

Wish Walmart or the TSA at the airports did the Disney method and acted as happy as these folks!

Yes. Agree on all counts!! My point was in part that I'd read on here that there were fewer of these awesome CMs -- and happily, that was not our experience at all.

I agree! I was there Aug. 10-15 and noticed the same thing!

I agree, we were there Aug 2-12 and saw greeters everywhere at all times throughout the day. They often had mouse hands or other props to wave. We thought it was a wonderful way to be welcomed in to each park.

Are you saying that those greeters are, in a way, acting as Security, or that they're actual Security CMs?

I don't know the right answer, but with it being 2016 and security ramped up I'm somewhat assuming theyre security acting as CMs
