Green ribbon?

I read once somewhere on here about DISers wearing green ribbons at WDW to be identified as DISers. Am I remembering this right?

Lime green is the color Disers have worn to recognize one another

Home Depot has Mickey heads in their paint sample dept that are the right color and people wear them or decorate bags with them.

I have seen shirts, hats, ribbons and more all in Green.
Buttons with Dis usernames
lots of things but pretty much always lime green

I did notice on my last trip that other people in the world like the color too
because when I asked they had no clue what the DIS boards were...

They do now
