Green Mouse Heads from Home Depot

Good idea
Our HD was out of lime green Mickey Head's
But made some with a paint swatch from another brand.
Some Hd manager might be stocking up on the lime green paint with all these paint swatches leaving the store

Yep, after I took the last two, our Home Depot was out of the green Mickey Heads too!

Here's a thought: What if you taped one on your hotel room door, right underneath spy hole - or by the door handle. That way, DIS folks walking past would know that there are DIS people in that room!

Great...there is some guy at Home Depot corporate wondering why the lime green Disney color seems so popular. I wish someone could tell me how lime green became the official color of the site. I literally came to the boards one day and found this out (albeit a few years ago). Well, it's lime green whether I like it or not

If anyone needs Mickey Heads, just drop me a pm and we will drop how ever many you want in the mail. We picked up some and have some extra. Also our Home Depot never seems to be out of Alien Green or Sonic Boom. Both of these are lime green, one a little lighter than the other.


To Webmaster Pete:
Someone once posted that they chose that color since it didn't stand for anything like Breast Cancer awareness (pink), AIDS awareness (red), child abuse awareness (purple?) etc. It was a color that no one could think of some cause associated to it.
(on the plus side, it is bright and can't be missed by Dis'ers and it almost matches the green bounce below)

Great Idea!

We are renovating our attic and practically live in Home Depot!
I saw the Disney paint display but never thought of grabbing a few cards.

I learn a new trick every time I visit these boards!

All the suggestions are great! We are going to use our's on our luggage, camera case and backpack. The name tag idea is very cool. Looks like a trip to Michael's is in order. My older DD (16) is very into scrapbokking and the different colors will work well. Thanks for all the great idea's

I love the idea of using the colored mickey heads for scrapping. I haven't done any scrapping yet, but bought a special kit so I can when we get home.

This is what I did with my lime green (sonic green and alien green according to HD) mickey head. I bought a plastic key chain, the kind you can put your own picture in, and put a few of them in there. (Just one is too thin, it will fall out) and plan to attach it to my waist pack.

I have 3 of the Alien Green & 4 of the Sonic Boom Green ones. PM me with address and I will be happy to send to any one who wants them. Slot was empty so I asked the girl at HD if she had any that were not out and after she hunted underneath the display she found some more. She said she did not understand why the Alien Green keeps disappearing, no one is buying Alien Green paint. I suggested with a smile that maybe the Aliens were taking them. LOL She failed to see the humor. She definately isn't a DIS Girl.
