Green mickeys?

Ok when i first got on here some one made me up some cute little green mickeys heads with beads. They were to tie on our bags. I was wondering if any one here still dose them and might by happen be willing to make me up a few with our names on them. I found steve's old one Capt bane, but mines gone and Arty and my parents (Grumpy and GramKaren) would just have a laugh at them Im just wondering who it was who was making them up? I wish i remembered they were so cool

Im not sure who made them but we read on here that people were using the disney mickey head shape paint chips from lowes. They no longer make them so we just grabbed a lime green paint chip and will cut the shape. Just an idea. Or you can print something out.

Just picked some alien green's up at Home Depot a few days ago.

That is the official DIS color^^^, and the paint chips are from the Disney Paint display and shaped like Mickey's Head.

I was intrigued by the thread title so I had to read this. But, I don't understand. I get what the Home Depot Mickey paint chips are, but what are the little green mickeys heads with beads?

some one made them for me and my hubby when i first sighed up on these boards. it has his name on it his screen name, and mine had my screen name on it. The beads are like beads ppl put on home made key chains. It was cute and we tied them on our bag. showed we are Diss members and I was just trying to find more to get my parents and son one. But i may have to send hubby to home depo or loles and make them my self lol

they are only double sided if you glue 2 together. What I did was write my s/n on 2, glue them together (I used 1 side alien green and the other side was purple, my favorite color) and then use a ribbon to tie them to my park bag or lanyard.

Can you scan it and post it for all to see? I'd like to know what it looks like.

I think she said she doesn't have hers anymore. I haven't really seen any on recent trips and mine tore and I haven't replaced it. They are cute and they are used to ID other DisBoard members, I've honestly only seen them a few times tho. I should see if I have any more at home so I can make myself a new one. I have photos at home, if no one shares a photo I'll see about posting one...altho it may not be until tomorrow, we have plans with friends tonight.

I made ours last time and I just glued 2 back to back, laminated them and punched a hole and put pretty ribbon and pink and green beads on it. I tied one to my stroller and one to my bag. Nobody stopped me LOL.

LGMH 101

LGMHs = Lime Green Mickey Heads

Lime Green is a paint color that is carried at Home Depot.

You can get paint chips (a little card that has the paint color in the shape of Mickey's head) for free.

Cut out the LGMH, tie it to something visible as you walk through DLR. If another DIS'er spots you, they will know you are a DISBoard member because you have a LGMH.

In 6 years of DIS'ing, I've spotted a LGMH twice.

P.S. When you go to Home Depot and go to the paint section and find the paint chips and locate the ones in the shape of Mickey's head, do not be shocked if every color paint is there EXCEPT Lime Green. I had to go to three Home Depots when I wanted LGMHs for our cruise. ROFL!

Just Home Depot. They have the Disney-branded paint and the Mickey head paint chips. Lowes does not carry the Disney paint.

Yes, the Alien Green Mickey head paint chip is the DIS marker. I pick some up every time I go into Home Depot, just in case I need them.

On page 3 if you scroll down a little bit someone posted the Mickey heads so you can save the file and print them out yourself, in case you can't get to a Home Depot easily.

Yes, it's a lime green color so it's very noticeable. It's a fun way to let others know who you are.

Or, make sure you check the cabinet under the display. I needed some a while back (few years now) and they didn't have any, DBF opened up the cabinet and there were more paint chips down there! I was excited!! That's why I think I have more, he took the whole package! LOL There were more than 1, he pulled one out and handed it to me, then put the others in the spot they were supposed to be in. lol
