green eggs and ham for lunch

My DS's pre-school/daycare had green eggs and ham for lunch this week in honor of Dr. Seuss's birthday. How fun is that!!! Then they had a visit from the Cat and the Hat and thing 1. Quote from DS 4 - "but it wasn't the real Cat in the Hat giggle giggle - It was Miss Carla dressed like the Cat and the Hat, giggle giggle, she was funny, giggle giggle.

We do the Read Across America too, and the kids do have a ball with it.
Last year I went in and helped make the green eggs & ham. When we were passing it out to the kids, one kid walked up to me and told me very matter of factly..."Im allergic to green eggs".
