Green Bay WI HELP NEEDED

OK, I just found out we need to take a quick run to Green Bay next Friday...problem is it is a Friday night Packer Game...so hotels are pretty much not to be had..

Any eexperts with the Green Bay area know of any hotels that might be a sort of secret and might not be booked? Need clean....that is it.

You could try booking in Appleton. They have a ton of hotels there, and it's not too far away. You won't be in Green Bay, but you can eat at Vince Lombardi's Steak House in Appleton. It's really good, and there's a lot of memorabilia on the walls.

I just noticed that you are in the UP, and Appleton is south of GB. So that might not work out as well for you as it does for us. I'm not sure what's between you and GB.

Good luck!!! Try hotels on the east side of the city. Probably nothing to be had, though.

Thanks everyone....did get a room at the REsidence Inn...more than I really wanted to pay, but hey, it is a room in Green Bay...will also check on Thursday and Friday before we leave...maybe a few cancellations will appear and I may just time one right.

Yes, In the UP...not much between here and there...Iron Mountain is about half way for us and that is still pretty far.....although I am not sure what little mom and pops might be along the way....not too terrible keen on that unless I have a direct recommendation...
