i am a huge roller coaster buff and have been to the world many times. just me being curios, in your opinion, what is the best thrill ride at disney for thrill seakers?
Rock and Roller Coaster!!!!! Rock and Roller Coaster is without a doubt the most thrilling ride at WDW. From 0-60 mph in like, 3 seconds, wow, it is THE most thrilling ride at WDW.
ooooooo....tough one! RRC or ToT!! Different kind of thrills....so tied for me! If I HAD to choose one I would have to go with RRC, but not only because of the thrill factor, tho....My son and I are HUGE Aerosmith fans (my son, Steve Tyler and myself share the same birthday! March 26!!)
Yeah, I gotta say I like ToT and RRC almost equally. ToT has AWESOME theming, RRC does too, but ToT I think is better (as far as theming goes) But hey, some peeps like ToT better than RRC in every way.
If you are truly a roller coaster enthusiast, then you've heard of Cedar Point near Sandusky, OH. I used to live in Ohio and loved Cedar Point. Now that you have my resume, hear this: Rock n' Roller Coaster ROCKS! It is one of the best I've been on!
Space Mountain doesn't even compare. If it was anyplace else but Disney, and didn't have the name recognition, it would be just another mid-sized compact coaster.
As my line at left sez, I'm a Rock n' Roller Coaster worshipper. That 0-60 mph in 2.8 seconds take off was about the best thrill-ride thrill of my life!
I think Mission Space is the most intense ride at Disney World, but my favorite is Rock 'n Roller Coaster (sp?) at MGM. Its one of my favorite coasters overall and I have ridden 175 different coasters so far!
Of course out of the world... Montu and Kumba arn't that bad either.
I think the single biggest thrill is the drop on Splash Mountain. I am convinced I will fall out every time. That said, RRC is great, thrilling but not nauseating. I like Space mountain too, but it does leave me queasy.
My DSs (9 and 13) would totally agree with you! I make them go on that ride every time we go to MK!! When we are not at the MK I use the song as punishment....when they misbehave I start singing that song and it gets stuck in their heads all day....worse punishment than taking away the video games!!!
But you know the funny thing, I wouldn't want to see the ride go away...it definintely isn't our fav, but it just seems WDW wouldn't be the same without it there.
