Great writer, but Bad Singer

I don't think Willie is so bad. I guess you eitehr like his nasally voice or not. IMO it works on some sonsg and not so much on others.

Bob Dylan... he was a fine singer early in career, but not now. I think he maxed out with "Blood on the Tracks" (writing and singing)

Willie is alright, but I notice more that his voice seems on the shaky side.

Dylan gets on my nerves because of his nasal sound.

I like Bob Dylan's songs...when someone else sings them.

I'll add Springsteen to that list-love the covers of his songs. As Rod Stewart gets older, his phrasing really bothers me, too.

Now, Bon Jovi and Michael Bolton? Can't stand them and haven't really wanted to try listening to any covers.

Now my pick would be Geddy Lee. I can't stand his voice, so I don't listen to Rush. I don't even know if he writes any songs because I can't bring myself to touch a CD. If he does write though, I'm sure it's better thanhis singing.

I just wonder what kind of drugs you'd have to be on to really enjoy that voice...obviously I missed out on them.

OMG...I completely agree. I love Bob Dylan, his songwriting and his voice. I HATE Rush. Every single guy I ever dated loved Rush. GAG!

I don;t think Janis wrote many of her own songs did she? I know Kristofferson wrote me and bobby McGee and I just looked up Piece of my Heart and Cry Baby neither were her

on her greatest hits album she wrote 2 of them
