Great Wolf Lodge?

I would actually compare it to a moderate resort at Disney. Clean, spacious, great staff. A few different food options (although I found the buffet retaurant expensive. Did you go on their website to see what specials they are offering??

Some additional surprises are the animated animals in the lobby that do a show twice daily. They also can talk to the kids when a "button" is pressed. Their are 2 mascot charaters that come out for meet and greets, they have story time every night at 8pm where there is a story read, show and the characters come out (the kids all wear their PJs to the lobby. The gaming area is lots of fun and my kids love the cub club (crafting room). Nothing is free but overall it is an enjoyable stay.

The fridges in the room are decent sized so go ahead and pack lots of food and drink so you can dine in your meal. There is also a microwave in every room.

Our family of 4 spent 3 nights at GWL, and I'd say the best aspect of the Lodge is the staff! Everyone was friendly, helpful and cheery. My daughter was sick in her bed one night, and the guy that came with the new bed sheets wanted to come in and clean the mess up for us! I told him I appreciated the offer but I don't think any staff member should have to clean up that!:crazy2: Another staff member came running down the hallway insisting he wanted to carry our luggage to our van when we were leaving and then didn't want a tip. He said he just wanted to help! I enjoyed the water park but the staff was amazing.

I know 3 families going to the Lodge next week and during March break! S

We are going to GWL in March for 1 night.:)

We are looking forward to it - and I appreciate all the tips on this board.

Also: I emailed GWL from their website and asked for a coporate code for the corporation that I work for. After a few weeks and a few emails - they sent me a corporate code and a list of discounted rates (ID is required).

I could not use my corporate code during March Break.:sad2:

I saw those cards and wondered how they worked...
When she made her reservation did she tell them she would be using this gift card - did they need any details off the card to confirm or, could you make a reservation and then show up at the checkin desk to pay with the card.

She had not booked it yet , she was gonna call after she got off the phone with me ... She did say this, and she has used these cards before as she has a friend who has something to do with the company that runs these cards
She said all you do is call the number check avail. for the date you want with them and tell them you have the gift card and there is a code on the card you give them or something as it is not activated till you pay for it at the drug store . So I guess it is as simple as telling them the code or confermation number you get .
