Great Wolf Lodge Strategies

I have seen Great Wolf Lodge mentioned around this board a bit. I am planning a trip to HHI next year, and want to tack on a few days at Great Wolf Lodge in NC. We will be hitting eleven months out in a week or so.

Does anyone have any insight about discounts at Great Wolf Lodge? How far in advance can I book? Will they apply a discount to an existing reservation? When should I expect to see discounts for a trip in March of next year?

Sign up for their emails and you get promo codes sent to you. They usually come a month or two before booking times.

We go every other year but we get a group code and it's so much cheaper. One of us (group of friends) will call and set up a group code. Then send out the code to all of us to book on our own with the code. There must be a minimum of 10 rooms booked under the code to get the discount. We usually pay $179.00 for a night. This is for the Niagara Falls one where the rates are super high!
