Hi there...thinking of doing sunday-monday overnight in mid July..has anyone had experience on crowd levels on these days (arriving mid day sunday until monday late day).

Also any suggestions for local restaurants for dinner. We have only been there once and ate at the restaurant and wasn't too impressed. We brought breakfast which was fine....but concerned about dinner.

Any suggestions..my boys are 14 & 9.....

Sorry forgot to ask..what are the suites like? size of bed/rooms for kids..my boys are 14 & 9..and the 14 year old is approx. 5 ft. 7inches..thanks

We just got back from there last week and had an amazing time! So much so, that we booked to go back at the beginning of July. We went to celebrate my son's 11th birthday so the day we arrived we played in the water park and then went down the road to a friendly's (they love it there, and it is a tradition for kids birthday dinners). But the next day we ate at the snack stand in the waterpark for lunch, and it was fine. And for dinnner, we just ordered a pizza from their take-out pizza stand and ate it at the outside pool.

You'll have a great time, I loved it....and didn't really have high expectations. I'm kind of a disney snob!

Crowds shouldn't be bad arrive early on Sunday and leave late on Monday. The outdoor pool will be open as well. We usually travel down the road a bit they have a Red Robin, Chili's and I think Macaroni Grill. We love Red Robin so that is our usual Dinner spot.

We were there a few June's ago mid week and it was crowded, much more crowed than the KC, KS GWL mid-week in December! We were still able to have fun, waits were not bad and kids wanted to go back! I know we ate at a nice Micro-Brew down the road and in KC did the Pizza Hut at the pool ($35 pizza!!) but easy and fun. Our suites have the 2 double beds, half wall with a sofa bed and TV on the other side of it. You can stay until 2 pm and get in the water park earlier than check-in as well. Have fun!!
