Does anybody know of any good or decent rates for GWL over Xmas holidays? Looking for anywhere between the 28th and leaving new years eve day, only staying 2 or 3 nights.

Personally, I don't think you will be able to find great rates for that time period, but sometimes their facebook page has promo codes that are available.

Otherwise, there are the rates on the webpage or AAA rates (enter AAA in the Promo code box)

It is not physically possible for any human being to stay 3 nights at GWL. Two maybe. Definitely not three.

If you are a teacher you can get discounts through Edvantage.
There is also a code "SUNLIGHT" that should give you 10% off that came with a bottle of sunlight I puchased earlier this year.
We are going on Dec 19. Enjoy!!!

We stayed 4 nights/5 days in July 2008, then 5 nights/6 days in July 2009. We had a blast!!!:banana::banana:

Already planning for a full week in summer of 2010 :thumbsup2 .

Anyone know of where I might find discounts/promo codes for the GWL in Virginia for March?? Driving to Disney's HH and stopping there along the way!

You will find much better rates at Kalahari Resort in Sandusky, Ohio. It wouldn't be too far off your path if you are doing the I-75 route. They regularly have specials for $99/night or two nights for $139. The waterpark is much larger than GWL, they have an indoor mini golf, a small zoo, an indoor kid's dry play area as well as crafts, etc. They don't have the kid's rooms, wolf den, etc. but do have several different room/suite configurations. Much better than GWL in my opinion - and MUCH cheaper.

I also read they are building a Kalahari in Fredericksberg, VA but I'm not sure when it is to open.

I didn't think the edvantage code was that great.

You can try www.ratestogo.com but you can only book anywhere from 21-28 days in advance.

Thanks everyone, I just keep trying ones I find, nothing seems to really help for that time of year. Guess I will have to eithier pay top dollar or look to go somewhere else!
