Well we are back from our California trip.It was wonderful with a few "bumps."LOL
First night there a CM opened a door and knocked my 1 year old on the ground. The nurse came promptly checked him out -he was fine took our information and left. I was a little disappointed with no follow up call but overall great response from medics At CA.
Next day son went to ER with a raging fever-turns out he had bilateral ear infections and a sore throat. In and out with prescriptions and tylenol.Overall good experience.
Last night there(after a week in LA) we went to Rainforest for Lunch. I had the pulled chicken wrap and we shared the VOlcano dessert. MMMM MMMMMM Good. ANyway about a 3 hours later as we were about to go into see Tiki birds I got a sharp pain. I rain to the bathroom and was very sick. Blacked out on the bathroom floor for a minute or two. Since the family was in Tikki I left the bathroom and sat on the wall outside. I was white as a ghost. I couldn't take more than 10 steps without passing out. Dh finally came and got the CM to get someone to help me. Nurse came and said I was probably dihydrated( I was not) and adked me if I would like to lie down. I didd as I could not stand and I felt like I needed to sleep. She seemed annoyed wheeled me to fist aid and gave me a cot and left me there. I slept about 20 min woke up asked where my family was she said the baby was crying so she sent them out.
. I then left to find them. I was still woozy but didn't feel welcome there. ANyway long story short. I walked to the car passing out every few steps. Finally got to the garage and had to lay on the fllor of the garage where a little girl called me a homeless person( dd was mortified) Finally got to the car drove back to LA slept it off and felt fine. VERY STRANGE
OK now for the good. We completely loved DL and CA and especially loved the close proximity of everything. We spent 5 days in both parks and could have stayed a few more. The girls started pin trading( thanks to our lanyards with our package) and had a blast. They liked DL better than WDW. It is perfect trip for their ages 8 and 7 because the rides are age appropriate with a few challenging. My daughter didi California Screaming(first upside down coaster) and loved it. We all loved soaring over California. Can't wait to go back.
PS On the way home MCauley Caukin ws on our flight but I didn't want to disturb him for an autograph. THe girls were thouroughly impressed that the home a lone "kid" flew coach and sat behind us.
Thanks for all the tips. They were quite helpful.
BTW we also didi San DIego Zoo Sea World And Wild ANimal Parks.
We stayed at Resdience Inns in Anaheim and SD and in LA we stayed at the Westin Bonaventure. All were Fabulous!!
ANy questions Please ASK away!!!
