Where is a good place to eat for a table service late lunch or early dinner for three adult women who will be attending the Pirate & Princess Party?

I know this may sound way out there, but have you considered the Garden View Lounge for Tea at the Grand Floridian? The most expensive one is about $25, and include a glass of sparkling wine of some sort, and it is only a monorail ride away from MK? I love to do stuff like this, especially for a group of women.

I know that on allearsnet you can find the menu. I think that it is from 2-4, or maybe even as late at 4:30.

Hope this helps! All of the reviews I have seen were glowing, so I can't wait to try it our in January.

if you're staying in MK all day, I like lunch at Liberty Tree Tavern... the characters are only there for the dinner, so it's pretty quiet there. and the food is yum-o..:cool1:

Or you can do something at the WIlderness lodge either Whhispering Canyon or Artist Point since that is only a boat ride away.... Personally DH and I are doing Whispering Canyon before the party

Does this tempt you?

The best dessert I ever had, Ooey Gooey toffee cake. They have a delicious salad, all I remember was that it had walnuts, and it was light enough to leave some room for this yummy dessert.

Liberty Tree has a great lunch menu. At dinner it's characters and family style but the lunch is a la carte.

My Mom and I recently had lunch at Kona Cafe. We both got entrees we hadn't had before(mine was just served at lunch) and we loved them. I am making it a point to go back for lunch with DH and the kids on our next trip so I can get that same meal again, it was that good. :goodvibes

You could also make a stop at the Tambu Lounge for a nice tripical drink either before or after lunch.

Thanks for the suggestions! I think I'm leaning toward Kona, but I'll check with the girls:dance3:

That was going to be my suggestion too. I've done Tea solo twice before MNSSHP. I'm usually in the parks fairly early and stay at the party until the end, so it's a nice break in my day, and can be every bit as filling as a regular sit down meal.

I agree with the High Tea at GF. It's light fare and you can jump on the monorail afterward for the P & P Party. :thumbsup2
