Great Southwest Fares

MY FAMILY AND I GOT GREAT AIRFARE FORM SOUTHWEST AIRLANES. 461.00 FOR 5 OF US ON A DIRECT FLIGHT TO AND FROM ORLANDO. CHECK OUT THEIR WEBSITE I THINK IT'S ONLY 'TILL JUNE 16TH, WE LEAVE THE JUNE 4-11. CAN'T WAIT.

The rates have been extended through the end of SWA schedule (Sept 12).

I don't get it, I priced out flights for my DH, myself and baby (who will be 2 one month before we fly) for July 9-23, and the price was $1500 USD - with Northwest we can all fly for $820.00 CDN!

I keep seeing all of the Southwest posts on this board, but they are showing us the hightest fares for July. What's the deal, am I missing something?

I got flights for $115.00 RT from Manchester to Orlando May 5th!
I got $180.00 in credits for our Oct trip so as always, I love Southwest!

The biggest thing I love, is no change fees!

I'm hoping you are right. OUr Philly fares right now are $250 pp. OUr dates are really constrained, though. June 19-25 are our dates. Can't leave mid-week....if we did could have done it for $90-$150 pp.

I put the Southwest "Ding" on my machine , and too am hoping they'll extent the internet specials. Cross your fingers !!!

We're flying from Baltimore for $467 for 4 of us my youngest will be 10 months at this flight so will be a lap child as well.

I'm not sure. I just put in your dates on Southwest and got $139 each way (Internet Special Fare) for DTW to MCO on those dates. The total for 3 tickets was US$926. Not $820 CDN, but better than $1,500 US!

Thanks gw_lit for plugging in the numbers. I got the same prices, so I guess July fares are higher. The same flights for July 9-23, are only $230.00 per person. We only fly Northwest, so this is our preferred carrier anyway, but I thought I better check out Southwest as there are so many threads on this board about their awesome fares. For us in July, Northwest is the cheapest so far.

If you haven't put the SW Ding on your computer I suggest downloading it. I got a great rate yesterday, for my family of 5 Chicago Mid-way to Orlando total $632.00, that comes to like $126 per person.

I tried getting the cheap SW seats for June 4-12 right after the sale was announced and could not get 5 seats. I also fly out of DTW. I did get NW direct flights at the times I wanted for $218 a person. Last year we spent all day in an airplane because we had to make 2 stops and change planes. Not my idea of fun. So I am happy with what I got. They only problem is that DH was totally spoiled with last years $49 each way rate. Oh well!!!
Good luck with your flights. Don't forget Flint, sometimes they are cheaper
