Great school ideas

Our principal (bless her heart) asks for school improvement ideas each year and it's that time again. It's a small (2 classes for each grade) K-8 magnet school.

Does your school do anything that you think is an unusual and great idea? Is there something you've seen at a school that you wish your principal would implement?

I'm never very good at coming up with new ideas...

At my DD's school they had a program to teach kids about bully's - what is a bully - how not to be one - how to handle them. I think when they start educating the kids early it really helps them to understand that it hurts people by being mean to others.
