I just reserved a room at HRH for an unexpected trip for 4-16 thru 4-19. I got a rate of $129 a night with aph. This is our first stay at any resort on site so I am pretty excited. We hav been to Universal many time but always off site. I bought the annual pass today and just called to check for any rate. I almost fell out of my chair when she said HRH for $129. Just had to share.

I know. It's crazy for the end of April!!!

Makes you love that AP.

Where does that rate come from? Would it ever be cheaper calling than booking online? The cheapest APH I see is 144 for those dates online, which is still incredible, and 124 for RPH. Maybe 129 at HRH is for obstructed view? Really is crazy good prices for recently renovated HRH. Congrats!

The person I talked to was very helpful and yes it is obstructed view. I have no problem with the view since we are not going to US to look out our room's windows. We do not spend a lot of time in our room so it is definately an excellent deal.

Thanks so much for posting this!!!

I was happy with the 144 rate we secured a few weeks ago, but when I saw this, I called and got the same 129 -- whoo-hoo!!!!

I agree about the view. We're hardly ever in our room, anyway. It's the rate, the walking distance to the parks, the theme of the hotel and that FOTL that we stay onsite for :)

Thanks again soooooo much :thumbsup2

I had called a few days ago to make a change to our reservation and also went from the HRH $144 to the $129 obstructed view also. They do not offer the obstructed view on the website.

The other plus is that (according to the reservation agent I spoke with) these rooms do not allow pets at all.

obstructed views are cheaper but you need to call for those and the rates.

if you are not planning on having a view or if it is not important to you, then go for it !

Are obstructed views only for APHs. Or can anyone get them. And does anyone know when the florida residents rates will go down for late August?]
When I checked on the website they only had the rates until June.

Thanks

anyone can get them.
it is the room location, not the type of discount

call for the fl res rate if you can't find it on the website
