Hey all! I just got what I thought was a great rate from the Car Rental Savers website. I got a mini-van for Dec 18 - 23rd for a total of appx. $363. This is at least a couple of hundred cheaper than what I have been able to find anywhere else. I booked through Thrifty and I am picking up at Sanford airport. The website said to be sure to show them the Orlando Magicard at checkin. Has anyone else rented from this website? Did you have any issues???

I used a code I found on Carrentalsavers.com for our Alamo rental a few weeks ago and had no problems at all! Their code dropped our cost another $30 over what I was already saving by renting through Costco.

I'm renting a Minivan through Thrifty Oct 13-20 (week) for around $300 total. I used the same site. I believe you need the magicard for Dollar, not Thrifty although they are the same company. I guess I'll print one out just in case.

Thanks for posting this. I was able to save a little over $30. Had to switch from Alamo to Enterprise but it should be fine.

Alamo, National & Enterprise are same company, they just want to keep us all confused.
Glad I saw this, because I just checked my reservation and saved about 20.00 on our Oct. rental and over 35.00 on our Dec. rental. Switched from Thrifty & National to Avis (which dh is preferred + w/Avis). Maybe this means all the rental car companies will start dropping their rates. I'm happy with anything under 200 total for a week. Almost got it to 150. maybe by Dec. I will.

Awesome!!! I am so glad that some of you are saving some money. I am going to keep checking back too to see if it drops anymore!

Thank you for posting this!!
I just booked an intermediate SUV through car rental savers for $260 for 6 days (10/29-11/4).:yay: I wasn't able to find anything even close and had pretty much given up on renting a car.

I was able to book a compact car with Thrifty from Nov 20 - Nov 26 with base rate of $125.00, total came to $178 using the Orlando Magicard corp code.

Still looking for a better deal, but happy the total is under $200.

Awesome!!! :cool1: I am so glad that people are getting some great deals. Here's to hoping that the prices keep dropping....:yay:

for those who got the better rates...

does quote include 2nd driver free or is there a daily charge?popcorn::

Enterprise includes a spouse for free, but charges for any other additional driver. Once I got a quote, it also inlcuded the price of the 2nd non-spouse driver, which was $10 per day at OGG. It might be a different amount at MCO. -- Suzanne

Just back and wanted to report that we had no problem at all with our rental booked through Car Rental Savers! Thanks OP for saving us some money on our rental!

Great!! I am so glad that you all are saving some money. I am going to keep checking back until my trip in December to see if I can get anything cheaper, but I am definitely holding onto my original deal!!
