Great Rate At AKL for MAY

I called CRO today to try and get a quick trip in with the girls for May 19-23. Well, much to my surprise I had a code attached to my name I took the AKL Savannah view for $185.09 a night including tax!!! This is a deluxe room, so I am thrilled. We could of had a BW room for $244 a night, Never been to AKL so thought we'd try something different.
The CM I spoke with was wonderful and said I should have gotten the e-mail in Frbruary. Oh well, I am set now.

We got the same.... Savannah view at 185.09 rate and we'll be there with you (5/21-5/23). I got a postcard.

I just wanted to ask, are you sure that is not a standard sav. view? I used the same code as others and am getting a standard not deluxe room for the price you quoted.
Regardless it is a great price and allowed us to upgrade from the CBR for the last 3 nights of our 7 night vacation.
Also we will be there, at the AKL, May 17 - 20.

I took it to mean a room in a deluxe resort, not necessarily a deluxe Savannah view.

What are the odds of having a code by your name? I only registered with Disney less than two months ago, and only booked our rooms a few weeks ago. Would I not have a code because I've never been? Do you need to have visited Disney in the past in order to receive a code?

Call and ask. It's worth it if you have a code
The worst thing that can happen is that you don't and then you can come over on the code thread and freak out with the rest of us

I'm sure she told you that, but I'm not so sure that she's right however. People have posted that postcards are sent to relatives that never go to Disney. Anyway, join us on the other thread

Oh wow, we've gone the last two years, I wonder if I might have a code? I'm booked at SoG but might not mind a night or two in a different hotel!

I called back to check and make sure it was deluxe and the CM said no. I did say I was told it was deluxe, but I am happy with the rate so I won't complain. I usually go twice a year, but had no reservations yet for this year. I was surprised to have a code, also thrilled!!!
