Thanks for the codes It still didn't beat my KISS2 code from Dollar my Compact for a week is $124 and some change with your codes a compact was $221. I will store them away and keep trying as you never know.

I've been checking these boards several times a day and the codes don't seem to work when I enter them. I need a compact car for May 13-21 and, using the above codes, got a rate of $254 (inc. taxes). I'm currently holding a reservation with Dollar for $191 (inc. taxes.), which is about 75% more than I paid last year, so I'm still hoping some great codes come out before May.

I think that some of the confusion over "good rates" on car/van rentals is due to whether or not you are renting to drive to Florida, or if you are renting at an airport after flying to Florida. There are many good deals out there, like the KISS2, that work for people only renting in Florida. But for people like me, who need to rent something to drive to Florida, then the OP's rates were very good.

Is there a link to where you found this code so that I could print off a copy of the coupon? Were the any restrictions, such as type of credit card to use to reserve, etc? I got $217.02 for a compact for your dates with Alamo, using code 430710 and Coupon AD1901NJK which is more than your Dollar rate, but it includes an extra driver. We're actually flying home the day you arrive. Hope you have a great time!

The key is to keep checking the rates every day. I'm going for a week in early April and I initially booked with the KISS2 for a compact $238(yikes). I've since switched to National for $198 the a week later to Alamo for $166. Last week I rebooked with Alamo $132. Savings of $106. I checked the rates again today and it would be about $275. The prices vary in a huge way even day to day. Check often!!
