Just got a great price at National using a Contract ID, a Product Code and a Coupon!!! Reserved an SUV from 2/26 thru 3/6 for only $331.12!!! Yesterday I tried this using all the same information and got a rate of $443.38. I saved $112.26 in one day!!! Maybe I'll try again tomorrow!!!

that is great, now, what coupon, contract code and product did you use?

I reserved an SUV with national for 2/14-2/22 for $254 using the vacation outlet codes

I used the "WWEB" promotional code from National along with the Vacation Outlet ID "5042947" and $15.00 off coupon"10008198" from the Mousesavers.com link.

WOW $254. I think I'll keep trying!!!

I have been having good luck with the specials that they have been offering. I got a mini-van for $258 3-23, 3-29 not bad, and I was able to do ER so no counter stop for me::yes::

That's a great rate.I just used it to book a minivan for our skiing week in Canada and it's $30 USD less!!.I see that the vacation outlet coupon says that the $15 off may not be combined with other discounts or promotions. Has anyone had any problems combining discounts??

ie..wweb with vacation outlet coupon

I had a ressie with Nat'l. Then found a better rate combining the Vacation Outlet coupon and other codes and booked at the new rate (and cancelled the first ressie). But...I'd forgotten to apply my EA # to the account. I sent an email to National, and this was the reply....
"Just to let you know, that the coupon states, that you need to use the contract ID number, that is on the coupon in order to
receive the discount. I see that you are using another contract ID number on you reservation. I don't know if the location will allow the coupon without the correct contract ID number. I did see that you already tried using the correct contract ID number, along with the coupon and you did not like the rate so you canceled it. Then you reserved again using the incorrect contract ID number along with the coupon.
If you need further assistance, please do not hesitate to email us or cotact our Customer Service Department at 1800-468-3334

I wonder if they will really check at the counter? I didn't use that contract ID when I booked over the phone and still used the coupon. The lady didn't say a thing.

They don't check. If the computer accepts it on the internet, they will accept it at the check out kiosk.

See if you can modify the reservation. If not, try to rebook, this time signing in via EC. :)
