Great news!!!!

YAY!!!! So DW just told me that at the end of next month I can upgrade to the Pentax K-X!!!! I have been eyeing this thing since before it came out and have been drooling over it!!! I'm still with my K100D which is my first DSLR I ever bought (and still a good camera) but I REALLY wanted this one!! Now the only question is what color to get??? RED, NAVY, or BLACK?

It is a pity that they only have those three colors in the US I would love some of the colors that you can get now over in Japan. I would go with the navy one myself the red looks cool but then you add black lens on it and its no longer as cool to me.

That's what I was wondering too because I wanted something different I think! I really like the red body, and it comes with a red kit lens, but that still leaves me with 3 black lenses that I use regularly and a fourth that I will use every once in a great while. But would the black on navy clash? (That sounds like I'm trying to be fashionable, doesn't it? )

Congrats! Enjoy your new K-x. I picked one up at the store a couple of days ago just to play around with it, but I think I'll keep my K-7... (even if it doesn't come in fun colors)

So I just found out some even BETTER news! My DW decided to surprise me for my 30th birthday and get me THESE....

She is the BEST DW EVER!!! She surprised me by getting me the red K-x AND an UW lens!! I am SO excited to get started!! I am in like "photography overload" right now. I get the joy of learning a new camera and a new lens!

So they are finally bringing the UK Blue to the US! If they would bring the blue body with white grip, I just might have to invest in one. Anyhow, I bet they sell a bunch of that color in Kentucky! Big Blue Nation!!!!
