Well last year my Jeep Compass got totaled out by someone pulling out and hitting me, and well I got hit tonight on my way home from Chattanooga. Uggggghhhhh. I hope this one is not totaled out too. I drove it home, but it is damaged. I feel as though I am a magnet for this stuff. I hate having to deal with the insurance companies and stuff.

Oh I did. I have been very understanding with both ladies that hit me because I know tomorrow it could be me in that situation.

But I am BLESSED. Just about a mile or so down the exact road at almost the same time, someone else died in a car accident. Police were working both wrecks at the same time.

When dealing with the insurance company you should be pushing for retail price (or more) for the settlement.

What it might sell for at auction really does not make sense because auction buyers usually cannot test drive it so they don't bid as high to take into account more spiffing up than expected before they can put it out for resale.
