Just found out that the rotation for the West Coast cruise should be:

1st night at sea - formal
puerto vallarta night - pirate
cabo night - semi formal

all other nights are the regular casual dinners

I just hope it stays this way! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :cool1: :cool1:

Thanks for the information. We are finally reading more info about the WC cruise. :)

i spoke to debbie about the reas pkg vs. booking online and asked if she knew yet the order of the nights and this is what she looked up and told me. i hope it stays the same as i am booking my palo/spa/flounders times around this schedule!

:confused3 I'm sorry for asking what might be a silly question but does first night at sea mean saturday or sunday night? I'm trying to book my ressies too. Thanks

wow, first night is formal night!!! we'll be getting dressed up so soon. anyway, on our cruise, the first night is my birthday so it'll be such a formal celebration!

Sunday night

We are doing the West Coast Cruise in June and I was wondering...do I have to wait until we board the ship to make my Flounder's reservations for my child or can I do it before?

Also, when you talk about formal and semi formal what does that mean as far as dressing up? I'm a stay at home mom and don't go on many formal outings so I need to know what I need to go and buy for myself, kids and my husband.

Any info you could give would be wonderful!
Thanks,

:wave2: I am also on the west coast june 18th cruise. I don't have children so I haven't made any reservations such as Flounder's, but others that are on this same cruise have book their kids by going to the DCL's new web page where you can make kids club, palo's and spa reservations on line. Hope this helps.

You can make Flounders ressies on the new website, but, I have yet to have success with the "register" link, seems to be a bug they haven't worked out yet. I just need to register for the clubs, not Flounders, so I am not worried. You may want to keep trying if you know the times you want for flounders.
Also, I plan on wearing a black dress-cocktail/halter style for Formal night, DH will likely wear suit & tie (despite owning 2 tuxedos, I am sure he won't take them). I plan to wear a skirt & spagetti strap top for semi formal and/or Palo.
I wouldn't worry much about dressing up. Get or bring whatever you feel comfortable in. It is your vacation! :flower:
(and, from one "stay-at-home" mom to another...this really will be vacation...someone else cooking, cleaning, and watching the kids!! I'll meet you at the Adult Pool anytime! ::yes:: )
