I am so excited! DH just started using the Omnipod for his Type 1 diabetes.

I've been super nervous that he's going to drop & break the PDM (blue thing in the picture). I had read that Pelican (an outdoor/diving gear company) makes a case that the PDM fits in. We got the Micro Case this weekend and it fits so well I could swear it was made for Omnipod!!! The case is waterproof, super durable and the interior padding keeps the PDM snugly in place like this:

This is the one we got:

I am so excited about this!!! It will be perfect for Kali River Rapids and Splash Mountain. DH are going to pimp it out with custom velcro pockets to hold test strips and a lancet. If he were younger (or if it was my case...:cutie: ) I would paint it or cover it in stickers to decorate it.

This will be our first trip with DH using the pump, so I'm a little nervous. Anyone else using this or have some words of encouragement?

Lots of love!!

Thanks for the info. I find the pod fascinating and am considering it if I go on an insulin pump. I don't know if it's out yet, but soon they will have a CGMS that goes with it. I forget which company is making it, but it will bea great asset for pod users. I know several people who have a CGMS for their traditional pumps and love it! Is your DH planning to get one when it comes out?
