Have never done this and trying to decide if it's something that is a must do for most? I'm not overly excited about it, but it may be one that people truly love and I should give it a chance...??? If so, is it worth using a FP+ for?

My family enjoys it, but we are all movie geeks. My suggestions for FP priorities can be found via the green link in my signature.

I think this is a fun ride and always make sure to ride when I'm at HS. However, I wouldn't use a FP+ for it. I think the line tends to move pretty quickly because lots of people can fit in each "car." However, I usually travel when there are lower crowds and use the crowd calendar to go to the park on slower days so my assessment of the quick moving line may not hold true when there are high crowd levels. Although last time I was at HS and it had a decent crowd but I still don't think there was much of a wait at the Great Movie Ride.

I would not use one of my initial 3 FP on it, but if you can secure an additional one later in the day (if there is more than a 15 minute wait for it), then I'd go. My group enjoyed it, but wouldn't be terribly upset to by-pass it for other things. We were able to walk right on, so for us it was worthwhile attraction.

I would...It's a classic ride..Usually the line isn't that long to wait, but without having the back lot tour to draw people away it might be a lil more packed...

Regardless It's a must do IMHO.

I enjoy it. I don't know that it requires a FP at the expense of other rides. Depends on when you go. We found the line fine last time. They play clips of old movies while you wait. So there is something to "do" while waiting.

I definitely would give it a chance.

I think it is a must do . . . and I'm glad that the others who answered seem to think so too! I don't think you need to use a FP though - or at least we didn't last February when we were there. The line wasn't too long and it does move pretty quickly. But again, we were there the first week of February, which is not a very crowded time. (Happy to say we'll be back THIS first week of February as well and personally can't wait to ride it!)

As it is a ride that children, adults and grand-parents can all do it is always one of the rides that we all do :goodvibes

One of my favorite things and a must do for every trip I've made to the World.
Especially great if you get a great/well-spoken host. :)

No need to use a FP for it, it moves quickly and doesn't really warrant any repeat riders. Plus as noted above, the movies while you wait.

It'll be a good time to check it out before possible changes to the ride in the future too!

It's a nice ride. You should do it once. No need to use a fp on it unless you don't have other thing to do with the fp.

I wouldn't use a fp on it but it is a good attraction. With the limited things to do at DHS now a days I'm sure it will be easy to fit in.

Like other posters have said, I would not use a fastpass on this, but I definitely think it's worth doing. We always enjoy it. Not sure what time of year you are going, but we always go during early June and have never had to wait more than 15 minutes for this ride.

Thank you all! So glad I asked and didn't just write it off. I will definitely add to our agenda:)
