We just returned from our trip 1/5-1/13 and I have to share that we have a wonderful meal at Tiffins! We were a little hesitant to go as the menu seemed too adventurous for us but it was amazing! We had a 6:50 reservation on a night AK closed at 7:30pm. There were only a few parties in the restaurant when we arrived. The servers were great! They explained all about the menu items and were so attentive! Our party of three adults had: bread service for an appetizer, the Wagyu beef, grouper, and the pork. We had lime cheesecake, passionfruit tapioca creme, and chocolate ganache for dessert. The coffee and tea service were amazing as well! By the time we finished dinner, we were the only party left (they did not rush us at all) and we were the only people left in the park as were were followed by cast members and security as we left. Great evening!

Thank you for sharing. I am not a big AK person but my family is a far as the rides and they want to eat at the park, so this might be a good option. I was a bit hesitant too, but you have reassured me - thanks!

I wanted to at least walk through this new place and the Lounge associated, but never had the chance. I would love to try it, and it sounds like you enjoyed the whole experience. Thanks for sharing.

It is out new favorite and we love the Nomad Lounge as well. We also had great service and the food was excellent. I think our ADRs were around 7 something on a night AK closed down at 7:30, we weren't the absolute last ones in the park but close to it.

We have eaten at Tiffins twice now. Both times the food and service were amazing. I would say that the food quality and service were on par with California Grill. We were even given a welcome back card and a little bag of peppermint bark in December, since we had eaten there before in July. I plan to eat there again this summer. It's become one of my favorite restaurants. The Nomad Lounge is incredible too.

The "Welcome Back" cards are a new thing- we received one at the Sci-Fi. It's a neat thing that you're remembered and valued for repeat dining! No peppermint bark at Sci-Fi though! Will have to try the lounge if we're just looking for a snack!:thumbsup2

Good to hear. I reserved Tiffins for my next trip and I wondered how it stacks up to Boma, Sanaa, and Jiko. The convenience of its location won out.

I think it's as good as Jiko. It's almost as romantic too, because it never seems crowded. You can't even really hear the park with it's sort of secluded location. That will probably change some though once Pandora opens.

I really enjoyed my lunch at Tiffins. I booked a lunch for my husband and I in February and I'm hoping it's just as good and he enjoys it.

I'll be eating at Tiffins for the first time next week - I'm hopping from MK to AK and then back just to eat at Tiffins! Thank you for your review.

Wagyu is just a fancy beef! No worries.

Yes- just really good quality beef! It also comes with short ribs- they taste different(amazing) and they explained that they are prepared sous vide(not sure I spelled that right)- it marinates for a few weeks! I never hears of this before but I guess it's a way to prepare meat where it stays at the same temperature for a while and makes it very tender.

Thanks for the review! DH and I are going on a kid-free trip in April and booked Tiffins as we know it's not a place our kids would enjoy. Doing a later dinner as well, and I was worried about being rushed.

Boma is decent, but it's still a buffet with mass made food and sitting at a station to be scooped up by droves of people... IMO, Tiffins absolutely blows Boma away. Sanaa is pretty good, but again Tiffins is much better to me. As to comparing it to Jiko? That's a tough one. Jiko is one of my favorite restaurants in Disney both for excellent service and food. Our experience at Tiffins also had excellent service and food. Jiko and Tiffins are both in my top 5 when it comes to restaurants at Disney World.
