Looking for a GREAT Italian restaurant at WDW...

Was thinking Mama Melrose...but I keep reading bad to mediocore food reviews...

Has Anyone been to Tutto Italia in Epcot Italy??? It sounds REALLY great.

Let me know! Thanks!!

Just ate at Tutto Italia a few weeks ago (and I will be posting a complete review of our meal there soon on my dining review). It was fantastic! Actually, all of us, DH, DD, me, DSis, her DH, and our parents said it was perhaps the favorite meal of the trip (certainly top 3).

Service was excellent, beautiful place, food was incredible...I would highly, highly recommend it! :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

The food is fairly authentic (we are not Italian, but have all visited Italy several times), but simple dishes that would also be very familiar to all Americans, high quality and just excellent. Everything, every course, was so, so wonderful...:goodvibes My dad ordered the simple spaghetti with meatballs and I swear it was the closest I had to the best red sauce I have ever had in my life (in Florence).

DH and I had other, more complex, pasta dishes and they were amazing. ;)

Tutto is incredible, totally worth the cost for us

Tutto Italia is wonderful....we ate there last trip and plan to revisit it again this May. So glad they decided not to change it and mess with success!

We ate at Tony's Italian Restaurant in Magic Kingdom for the first time it was wonderful.:lovestruc

The only Italian spot that comes close to being "great" is Il Mulino.

I would highly suggest giving Il Mulino a chance if price isn't an issue. Have heard good things about Tutto. Mama Melrose and Tony's are comparable to eating in an Olive Garden IMO.

My last trip in Nov we ate at both Mama Melrose and Totto and we all thought both were very good. Tutto is a little more upscale, but both great!

Il Mulino. That's the only one I would call 'great'.
My 2nd choice would be Tutto.
Those are the best we have found at WDW.
(Beyond that, I would opt for Chef Boy Ardee in the hotel room).
