I love this show, do you watch it? I was trying to relax this morning because of pain from fibroids -- btw does anyone know of a way to get rid of one outside the uterus besides hysterectomy, because my OB/GYN said that's the only option. I can't believe that! Besides, how would I have a child if they did that since I can't afford to hire a surrogate? The doctor did not care in the least, and don't say get another because on our health plan there are no more to choose from.

Anyway, seeing the Wheatleigh Hotel in the Berkshires was so beautiful that I immediately relaxed and my pain subsided. Looking at that was even more relaxing than seeing the "presidential suite" at the Beach Club they showed the other day. I loved the colors in that suite, but the Wheatleigh 100 times more! Too bad my health plan doesn't cover redecorating or vacations, lol

I don't know about the fibroids part, but you have my sympathy! Regarding the show, we all love it! My family loves to watch this show. At WDW last year I even met Samantha Brown and got a picture taken with her. She was so gracious and her quirky funny nice self!

LOVE that show! I always said Samantha Brown has the best job in the entire world! I would kill for her job!

As far as the fibroids, I had a couple small ones and they went away on their own. I have no idea if they were inside or outside the uterus though. Sending good thoughts your way...

Do you only get pain once a month. I have really bad cramps and I take Toradol or generic name Ketorlac. Works wonders, been on it for over 14 years.

Yesterday when I picked it up at the pharmacy, they pharmicist asks me if I have any problems with it, and I said nope. Does it job. Then he asked why I take it, and I told him when it is the time of the month. Then he asked me if I take it more than 5 days, and I told him no. Just usually for 2. Then I told him I have been taking this for the last 14 years and he said, well, your insurance will only give you 20 at time. I said, I usually renew this every 4 months and he looked at me really strange.

Toradol is not a narcotic, my ob/gyn takes it too.

But I like that show too...one of my faves was a Hawaiian bungalow episode...maybe it was the Four Seasons Hualalai?

I love Samantha Brown, she has a great personality!
I think there is some information on www.ivillage.com about fibroids and your options. My friend just had a fibroidplasty(?or somthing like that...the non-hysterectomy)...which got rid of her fibroids and the next day she was back to work.

I love watching Samantha Brown! But the girl on the channel at WDW(10 best things to do at WDW or something like that) who does her best SB impersonation drives me NUTS! Samantha Brown is one of a kind, Disney.

Samantha Brown is my Hero! This is one of my favorite shows. I watched it as much as I could while on maternity leave and missed it terribly when I went back to work.

Hey, by the way I am from the Berkshires and have had dinner at Weatleigh and have skied the grounds and basically grew up living the Berkshire life. We actually drive home to see my parents and go right by Weatleigh often. I worked for years at the neighbor resort of Cranwell as a lifeguard during my teen years. It is beautiful. I had no idea they had done a show on it - see what happens when you don't get to see it every day! There are so many mansion like Weatleigh in the area, they all are worth exploring and some are more interesting than those in Newport.

I LOVE Samantha Brown! She is just too freakin adorable!!!!!! And she does SUCH a good job at her job, you know? She's not boring, or annoying, or too cutesy.

I often wonder if she has a family... I think I will do a google search =) I just wonder if shes married and her lucky hubby tags along but just isn't shown, or what. What a great job she has!!!!!!
