Great find today!

I found the neatest thing today!

It was a October 1971 Life magazine, with the Grand opening of Disney world on the cover.

The magazine was totally intact, and there is a gorgeous color image on the front 1,500 Disney employees in front of the castle.

There is also an aerial photo, with the Contemporary, and so many other things that are not THERE! No Space Mountain, no Astro obriter, of any sort.

Its an amazing issue. There is also amazing photos of other things...

Now to decide what to do with it.. keep it.. or sell it.

Just bought a tin wind up minnie mouse. she is sitting in a rocking chair and knitting. I LOVE it. It is from the 50s......

I love looking at vintage magazines. I have some other older sports magazines as well. I've been selling them in lots on Ebay

Wow what an amazing picture of the Castle. I am now going to have to go to some old bok stores and see if I can find that copy I want it for my Disney collection of stuff.

sometimes, the "keeping" is more valuable than a selling price....

As to where I found it, a neighbor had a box of old Life magazines. Some of them were interesting, but this one truly held my interest.

So that is how I got it.

As for old magazines, my DH has over 40 years worth of vintage magazines chronicling his life. (ie man on moon, JFK shot, etc...) I'm not sure if we have any more room in the tote for this. We're at a point where we need to throw some out

So now we are undecided what to do with it.
