GREAT family beach resort????

Can anyone suggest a great family beach resort either in the Caribbean or Mexico? We've been to Atlantis and we want to try something different this time. We've never tried an all inclusive and are considering that. I would love to go to Cancun but hear the beaches are not swimmable on most days and they are very rocky. What do you think??? We are two families travelling with 5 kids all together ranging in ages 8-16.

If money is no object, Beaches in Turks and Caicos is great.

I've heard some really impressive things about FDR and Pebbles in Jamaica. very kid-centric. They assign you a nanny for your stay (though your kids might be too old for that.)

We stayed in Playa del Carmen, Mexico just south of cancun. It was wonderful -- calmer waters and beautiful beaches! (We have stayed in Cancun also and it is rockier and wavier). There are many all-inclusive resorts in the area -- we love it with our 3 since they can have all they want to eat or drink. Also, all activities are included and most have lots going on!
