Ok not good at these things so forgive the babling or run on sentences.
Day 1 me ,Dw and DS's get up at 6:00 am to make sure we have everything we need and that we don't forget anything and call for a taxi to go to the airport .
I call thinking it would take awhile for the taxi to get to us and we didn't need to be at the airport until 8:00 am but the taxi got here at 7:00am and the guy drove so fast we were there at 7:30 and we checked our luggage .
So we figure we have enough time to grab a bite to eat so that our boys won't be cranky and wouldn't you know it the first place we went to the lady said they were open but she suggested that we go thru security and eat at another place and instead of arguing with her we did that and while eating at the other place the guy that served us said that the lady does that to everyone but I figured that was ok cause that was fast food and where we were at now was at least serving typical breakfast food.
After eating we found out our plane was delayed due to fog and I had to entertain my youngest DS and some jets caught his eye at the aviation museum and he begged me to take some pics.
So after all that we talked to some very nice people that were going to what they called to see the mouse and asked were we were going I told them to the darkside and they looked confussed and they asked wheres that and I said universal
So finally we boarded the plane and 2 hours later we were at the motherland and very excited and were off to get the luggage and find our transportation and be on our way.
when we found the guy he led us outside and not only was it hot but our driver must have not have the ac on in the car cause it was boiling hot and not to mention when he tried to get thru the gate there sticker on the car wouldn't work so we had to wait for the attendant to return and let us thru and DW was fumming and asking what kinda company was this and I swear this guy took the long away around and he had to pay at every toll booth when all the other companys have the tolls paid and go on thru but not this company.
After all that we finally make it to the Doubletree at the entrance to Universal about 1:30 pm and checked in and they gave us free cookies and I just gave mine over to keep them from being even crankier and then we head to the room to rest.
So I figured it was late and busy at the parks I decided to let the boys go swimming and about 5:00pm to have some dinner at the cracker barrel which we have found to have good food and then head back to the hotel for the night and get rested for a full day of fun at the park.
