Great deal except I already booked my airfare months ago and couldnt get in on the deal.

we don't have jetblue here...

We booked through Costco too. I was a lot cheaper than DLR website and cheaper than GAT, PLUS I got the free Character breakfast. I'm assuming at that cost you are staying at a resort hotel.

When we booked our package, Costco was the cheapest.

But when I started looking at the options of NON package travel, I could have done much better just getting one AP and using the AP rate at PPH (at that time, prices vary), or I'd have saved even more just using the entertainment rate at HoJo (again, prices are going to vary there).

So unless you've already booked, be SURE to price things out separately, unless you really really want a package.

I don't know where in TX you are, but they go to Long Beach out of Austin.

yeah I was going to price everything seperate... But I think really the deal going on right now is pretty standard. I live in Midland - we having nothing but AA, and Southwest oh and Continental... :sad2:

We have a package booked through Costco also for late May! Got an awesome price! We had originally had a hotel (HOJO - not the great ent. card rate though) booked and were going to buy the tickets separately. Our AP's expired in March and we were going to get new ones during the trip.
When the 5 for 3 deal came up it was cheaper to get the package. we also moved from HOJO's to PPH AND added another night. When you add in the free character meal and $20 gift card it was an AWESOME deal!:thumbsup2
But it is always wise to price everything out. You really never know what is going to be the best deal.

well I just booked with Costco!!! Yeah I priced everything by itself and by doing the package I save like $200 :confused3

I was told I couldn't get the AP rate until my AP was activated by entering the park and getting my photo taken. I too booked with Costco. I checked everything out separately too. It was about $200 cheaper than booking through the hotel or DLR and $24 cheaper than booking through GAT. Both of those packages did not include the free Character breakfast for our whole group and the $20 GC (we are a family of 6 BTW). So that was an additional savings of over $120.

My great deal was for 6 days, 5 nights for 2 adults, 3 kids and 1 infant. Kids suite at Portofino I&S for $1266. We are getting our CB free and we will be there for both DHs bday and my moms so that is 2 $69 fun cards plus the $20 gc from costco. That takes another $260 off our trip!!

I don't think that's true for DLR hotels. AFAIK, they will let you pay for it upon arrival and then check in. You just have to know what rate code you are calling about when inquiring.
