Great deal or big mistake (new tv)?

Budget tight right now due to WDW trip coming up in a couple weeks plus a bit of auto repairs. Of course, my tv starts turning itself off now, and probably needs a new power board. Just started looking at sales to replace our 37" 720p lcd tv, and was going to wait to see what Labor Day sales bring. Luckily (or unluckily) Best Buy just put a 39" Insignia Lcd 1080p on sale for 279 (reg price is 350), and I had a 5 reward cert, so I bought it. Specs match most of the other brands in this size range, and reviews are decent. Great deal, or big mistake? BTW, our tv is ALWAYS on (differing schedules so someone different aways watching), so its like a member of the family, LOL...

If it makes you happy go for it!
If you have already brought it home you will get stuck with a restocking fee if you returned (I think, especially since we are hitting football season). Enjoy your purchase / don't second guess yourself.
I asked my husband TV guy... he said if it is a 39 inch that is a good price. Insignia is an off brand, but that doesn't mean much these days. Have fun.

Insignia is Best Buy's "house brand", if you will. I've had a small insignia flat screen for years and it has served us well. I think you got a great deal! Now go enjoy the World!

Insignia is ok. I have a couple Insignia items and they are ok. My mom just yesterday got a 60" plasma for $899 from hhGregg. Think that was a good deal also.

I have an insignia flat screen 40 something inch and an insignia washer and dryer and am happy with all of them....knock on wood as the washer/dryer are 6 years old of heavy use.
