GREAT deal on Mickey Mouse Waffle Irons

Not sure if anyone has posted this lately, but I was just at my local Shopko and they had the nice Villaware Mickey Wafflers on clearance for $20.09. What a steal! I think they're usually more than $60 in the Disney Catalog. I have been wanting one forever, so it was a great opportunity. Just wanted to share in case someone else was in the market for a new one!

Shopko is just like Walmart or Target and it is a chain, but I don't know if it's nationwide. I'm in Green Bay, Wisconsin and we have four Shopko stores in town.

I was going to order the Mickey waffler from disneystore.com, and when I went to check-out, there was a notice saying that the waffler contains something that can cause cancer, but this it's only recognized by the state of California. Does anyone know whet this means? I eneded up not buying the waffler.

If I am not mistaken the whole cancer thing deals with the fact that it has a nonstick coating and there is some concern that nonstick coating such as T-fal and the like can cause cancer but I wouldn't be too worried about it - its not enough information to cause concern on a national level AND the levels these things are tested at is unreal- you would probably have to eat the actual nonstick chemical itself and do so repeatedly for years to actually get cancer from that.
