Great customer service at AKV

Upon arrival at AKV, my partner's parents realized they forgot their cell phone in the car back in Milwaukee. We asked a CM at check-in at AKV if there was anywhere on property to purchase a prepaid phone, and she offered to have a CM go buy one for us. We didn't take her up on that offer but did take her up on the cab voucher so we could purchase one ourselves. I believe her
name is Eileen and she's from Indiana. Also, at check-out, we were told
that we couldn't use our Visa gift cards towards the bill, but could buy
Disney gift cards with them in the gift store. We were told in the gift
store that this wasn't possible, however the manager in the gift shop
took us back to the front desk and not only was able to get the gift
cards used, but got us a credit for the inconvenience. Those actions by
those cast members are sooooo appreciated, I can not express my
gratitude. I'm a decent spender (loser) in Las Vegas and am used to good
customer service, but this was much more generous and sincere than I've
ever received there. My only complaint about the trip is the room view
from grand villa 5483. This truly is not a savannah view as one can only
see a small part of it from 1 balcony. We rarely saw animals given the
proximity to the pool. It would be a good "standard view" room, but is
an abysmal "savannah" view...

Be sure to send Member Services an email complimenting the great customer service you received from Eileen and the manager, be sure to include their names in the email.

I sent an email to member services as soon as I returned home. We had a great time, and felt like I should post it here as well as it's so much easier to dwell on negative things as compared to such positive experiences!
