Great Convention

I am just back from attending my very first scrapbooking convention! It was great, I had fun, won some prizes-bags,stickers. I was choosen to participate in "The missing link", I did fine until the 4th round when I was eliminated!! I attended two workshops-chalking/disney, they were informative. I did a little shopping as well. I only had time to finish one layout-not very productive but I got tons of awesome ideas! I did submit two of my layouts into the Memory Makers Season's contest. I am now hooked- I can't wait to atttend another. I think to do so I would need to travel however. I only wish I had some friends who scrapped as the people who were there in groups seemed to have a whole lot of fun. I did pair up with someone however and enjoyed her company. The store putting it on took alot of pics which they will post on their website-looking forward to seeing them.

I've wanted to go to one of the conventions but didn't know if I would like it or not, but you helped me make up my mind!...There is one in Orlando in November and I am going to sign up!

Grover, I am so glad you had a wonderful time at your first expo. I went to the one that is in Orlando in November and it was awesome. It was a great excuse to get to Disney. My LSS is having a bus trip to the one in Virginia in June. I won't be able to attend but I am sure all the ladies will be bringing back some really great ideas to share.
