I can't see whether or not this includes unlimited miles. Does Avis generally include unlimited mileage? Because this is several hundred dollars cheaper than the Budget code I have right now.

I booked it with the Costco coupon MUGA049 and it says Accepted (See Notes). According to the notes: Coupon deductions are NOT included in the estimated total, but will be calculated and applied at the time of rental.

It appear like they will honor it, but I am curious to hear how it it handled when people go to actually pay for their rental.

Is the Standard SUV better than the intermediate? I see it's $10 more for the week for me. I don't rent often, so I am clueless!

I arrive on Feb 5th, so I will report back on how it all goes. That trip I did not use the Costco coupon, it would not take because it is a Sun-Fri trip, no SAt night stay. The low rate went thru with this promotion, but not the Costco coupon.

I assume Avis does not let you pick your own car (something I LOVE to do, BTW). But I can deal with that.


Sometimes Standard SUVs seat more people, they have the optional 3rd bench. But other times they seem to ME to be just bulkier and worse on mileage.

We are renting at TPA for a Clearwater Beach trip. We aren't going to be driving much. The furthest we may go is to Legoland or Dinosaur world. Since we have younger kids and will have a stroller, luggage, and carseats I am going with the larger SUV. Thanks!

Make sure you use the AWD code and the rate code.

Wondering the same thing. The Equinox does not look like it would have the same room as an Explorer for luggage. Does anyone know? TIA

I reserved the Equinox June 18-24 for $169 plus tax ($229 total) and entered an Entertainment Book coupon for $30, so that should take me down to $199 when picking it up.

The Escape could be rented for $159, but I thought $10 more was well worth it for the Equinox.

I'll continue to keep my eyes peeled for better deals and will try priceline when the time is closer, but it is a real relief to have something nice reserved at a great price.

Must be blocked out for certain dates (mine!). I can see it's there for 4/28 to 5/5 as someone else listed from MCO. When I check my dates 2/22 through 2/28 it's $599 per week for int SUV. It's showing for my June dates, but not when I pick up at MCO and return to Tampa - only for MCO for both.

Out of curiosity, how did you sign up for their e-mails? Was it through a Wizard Number or Preferred Service registration?

I booked a reservation using this code and got a great rate for my trip. However, I'm worried about it being associated with a special program that I am not a part of and having it denied upon pick-up. Has anyone used this code successfully?

ETA: I just found this code on Mousesavers and Car Rental Deals, so I'm hoping it is legit!! Definitely the least expensive rate I've found so far.

Thank you for the code it worked for me. I am going to Orlando May 19 to May 25 for a critical care nurse conference and I was trying to figure out a way to get to WDW on Thurs after the conference (from about 1 til park closing), then back on Friday from open until I have to leave for the airport. With this rate I went ahead and rented a vehicle so I can leave from the park that I go to on Friday and drive right to the airport for my 6:10 flight.
