Gray Line Universal Studios Day Tour questions

DH & I are staying at the Anaheim Marriott for a conference and I've booked us a Gray Line Day Tour of Universal Studios. Can anyone who has done this answer a few questions for me? (I know I could email the company directly, but I definitely trust the people here more! )

Am I correct in that we will be picked up at our hotel (listed time is 8:20AM), taken to their Ticketing Center, and then transferred to our actual tour bus with a departure time of 9:15AM?

Universal is open this day from 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM and the tour is supposed to be 11 hours.

Will we get there in time for park opening? Will we stay until the park closes?
The tour description is very vague..... it mentions City Walk, so does that mean we will have time there as well?

I'd appreciate any info you can give me if you've done this tour (or a similar one) recently. Thanks!

Well we did this tour a year ago and would do the same again when we are back in the area. There are hotel pick up buses which take you to a central point in Anaheim and all the tour buses (for Seaworld, Knotts, Universal etc) all leave at the same time - 9.15am. So as Seaworld is 2 hours away there is no way you would get there for park opening.

We went on the Universal one in July and the opening time (I think) was 9am so we arrived about an hour late - you will get to Universal around park opening if the park only opens at 10am or maybe just a bit after - but that's not a big deal. The bus will leave around closing time - we didn't have time to do City Walk afterwards but we did the LA night tour after which was $10pp extra which gave you a whistlestop tour of the city, calling to stop off at the Chinese Theater.
