I was doing a search for your time frame of Oct.5-11th, and the total fare came out to $221.00 for two adults and one child (under 12) that fare is non-refundable, $251.00, refundable.
I think that is a really awesome price.

was the information that I was utilizing, a connection from the Greyhound station stop for Amtrak, just was not working out, for only god knows what reason, so therefore,I chose the above location in Phoenix,AZ.

If that link is regarding the nut job on a Canadian Greyhound bus, I heard about that case, this morning on the radio, and have since, learned a tad bit more, I probably will have to do some research on line, in order to learn more about the case.
It is my understanding that the victim, was the traveling companion, of the alleged perpetrator.
This is a fine case of what I see as being, abhorrent behavior, for normal people, do not stab presumingly innocent, sleeping people, multiple times, then follow it up with, a be - heading, that is just so disgusting.
Apparently, the perp, then had a stand off, for I don't know how long, as of yet, with the police.
Now that would make for a most definitely rude awakening, anywhere.
I hope that Greyhound, replaces the seats, that have blood, etc. on them, for no amount of scrubbing will be able to make those seats, as good as new, not to mention, who on earth, would want to sit in one of those seats, believe you me, I would want to know, whether or not, I was sitting in a killers seat, or a once bloody, vic's seat. No thank you to either, and that is one of the reasons, why Amtrak is more appealing, for even if I were to take a snooze, on the train, I sleep, with one eye open, it is a fine art, any body wants to tangle with me, not a good idea. I won't take your fill in the blank, for I will not allow anyone to victimize me, without it being over my dead body first!
