And I'm not talkin' Maelstrom either (did I spell that right??)

Seems as though Grandma and Grandpa both over the age of 70 took a little trip to the World WITHOUT me (jerks) I have since held their only great grandchildren hostage...they are no longer able to see or speak to those traders... ;) jk...

anyway apparently Mamaw (does anyone else have very stupid names for family members??) told him NOT to ride...

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad...BUT he just HAD to go...

the guy has had many hip surgeries and heart problems and he GETS ON BTMR jeeze what we do for a thrill at the world...

anyway I guess it jerked the poor guy so hard he had to have a hip surgery a few days ago!!!!

I wonder if he realizes Maelstrom is A fastpass??? I think I am gonna have to remind him!! ;)

He needs to stick to IASW next trip...had they taken me along I could have told them...the UOG says specifically
"not for 70 year olds with heart problems or hip replacements" :lmao:

guess they don't dotheir homework, huh?

honestly I feel bad for him and just wanted to share...

he is doing fine and all is well...he's ready to go back to the world!

I think he should stick to TOT for the non jerky effect...what do you all recommend for thrill attractions without the jerkiness?? Not Dinosaur, that's for sure...

I'd hate to admit the rides that my mom went on a couple years ago when my sister and I brought her to WDW and Universal. The only rides that she didn't do were the rides that went upside down and Dr Doom at IoA. She did everything else at least once. She was 81yo at the time and since her memory is slipping a little, I think there were some rides that she did a second time because she forgot what it was like the first time (ie, Mummy at Universal). I'm surprised that her heart and hips (dual hip replacements) survived Space Mt, Mummy, Big Thunder, ToT, etc. She was always a daredevil, so I come by it honestly, but it was pretty fun to see her experience it all (it was her first trip to WDW).

Hopefully next time Grandpa and Grandma will bring you!

God, please let me still be young at heart when I am at an advanced age.....
let me still want to go fast, fast fast! :thumbsup2
