I got sidetracked.
Character meals continued: Crystal Palace for lunch. This was mostly mediocre with a few good items. The flank steak was good as well as some of the veggies. Otherwise, not very good. The character interaction was not as good as at Chef Mickey's. In fact Eeyore just about ran by our table and a few more tables before disappearing. The service was also mediocre. I would not go back any time soon.
Via Napoli: We really enjoyed the food here. The piccante pizza was tasty. DGD enjoyed the cheese pizza. The service was also very good.
Sci Fi: DH and DDIL like to go here, DH for the corny films and DDIL for the burgers. The burgers and cookies and cream milkshakes were really good. DH enjoyed the reuben. DGD waved her fries around and had some burger. The service however was mediocre.
Other Quick Service: Columbia Harbor house was really good as usual. We try to go here once each trip. I like the tuna sandwich. Everyone else got the fish and chicken along with the clam chowder. The food was fresh and everyone enjoyed their meals. DGD made friends with one of the young ladies working there.
Pecos Bills: I like their new menu. The chicken and beef burritos were a nice change from the usual park food. DDIL liked the chicken fajitas which she shared with DGD. The portion sizes were pretty good.
Flame Tree Barbecue: The pulled pork sandwich was tasty but the portion size was a bit small. This seems to be one of the few places where a hot dog is on the kid's menu. DGD liked that.
DGD enjoyed her first mickey bar. She ate some of it and wore the rest. We all had dole whips which were as good as we remembered.
All in all we had good dining experiences and as always, look forward to going back. There are always new places to try and good food to eat.
