We bought our points so we could take our grandchildren and their parents to WDW every year. Of course we enjoy it just as much as they do! We just returned from our most recent trip, but our grandchildren are ready to go again. Our three year old granddaughter understands the connection between trips to WDW and her grandparents but doesn't quite have the details worked out in her mind. Yesterday she said to her mom,"Now how does that work, we have to wait until Nana and Papa pay us before we can go again?" Not too cute!

Aw, how precious! Our's were that age when we first started going to WDW. There's nothing better than seeing WDW through the eyes of a three year old.

My three went and grew up, but we're not at the grandparent stage yet.

Nana Sue, can I "rent" your little one?? I promise that I'll return her completely spoiled.;)

Too funny Nana Sue!!!!!!!! My nieces are beginning to connect WDW and all things Disney with Auntie Annie and Uncle Alan. Hey they could think of worse things when they think of us!;) :p :)

When I brought DVC I was going to night school so my schedule and my nephew were not the same.

I had taken them that year to WDW - so their first trip I got to participate in - and it was wonderful.

by the time we could go altogether again -boy had they changed. that first year they loved the MK and all the characters - I mean they loved everything. 6 years later - boy - they couldn't understand why some people were making such a big deal of being there!!!

but as mother says if I didn't want them to take it for granted I should have insisted that we go together.

Oh that first trip - hey they even though that riding the bus was a big deal - the monrail was a ride. It was so much fun seeing WDW through new eyes! So enjoy while you can - it won't last.

Sorry Regina, my grandkids are not for "rent". I do a pretty good job of spoiling them all by myself!

I'm "Nana" too! Don't ya love it! I love taking my DGD8 to WDW. I took her for the first time when she was 2, then when she was 6, and then again last year at 7. It was looking to be an anual event so I decided its best to join DVC. Only bought 150 pts, but that should give her and I a studio a couple times a year or a 1BR every now and then.
