We will be staying in a Grand Villa at OKW during Easter Break. There will be 11 of us with 2 of them being under 5. As I try to figure out sleeping arrangements, I am lost. Would if be comfortable for 2 adults and 2 teens to stay in the 2nd bedroom with the double beds? How much smaller is 2nd upstairs bedroom compared to the queen bed-bedroom? Looking for thoughts to be comfortable and to be appropriate time wise (everyone wanting to get ready in the morning).

Thanks! :grouphug:

how big are the teens?

remember that a moderate or value resort only has 2 double beds.

oh you are brave!!!

our suggestion is to figur eit out when you physically get there..........you will have not trouble when you see the OKW GV and the lay out...........

There is a problem when you reach max capacity like you have or actually one less. What planners forget though is not all people want to jump up and go to the parks at the same time. I only rented a grand villa once and do not remember for sure but I believe there is a 2nd 1/2 bathroom down stairs. So you have the master bath, the 1/2 bath, and two bathrooms upstairs. That should help having that many bathrooms. I did not notice that much difference between the two bedrooms upstairs as far as size. The door to the bedroom that connects to the hall can be left open so there will be plenty of air in the bedrooms. I assume the teens are sisters or brothers?? You should be able to squeeze everyone in.

There is not a huge difference in size between the bedrooms, just between the beds, which as you mentioned are double instead of queen. I think the difference between the bathrooms is that the "double" bathroom is partly inside the room - (sinks) and the toilet and tub are separate. In the "queen" bathroom, the bathroom is all one room (I think I am remembering that correctly!). The room is not a bad size.

One thing I might mention - I noticed that noise (i.e., normal level conversation) is a problem in the "double" room since it is right over the kitchen and seems to travel right up! This may not matter......but it may be an issue for someone who likes to sleep in!
:ssst:

To clarify what someone else wrote, an OKW GV has two full bathrooms downstairs -- one for the master bedroom and one for whomever sleeps on the pullout.
