Grand Villa Question..

If your home resort is a DVC resort that does NOT have a Grand Villa option (i.e. BCV), how difficult is it to get a Grand Villa at the 7 month mark?

although it's easier to book 11 months out we have been able to get gvs at less than 7 months, but had to waitlist and the waitlist came through. it doesn't make planning easier though if it comes through at the last minute, especially the larger the group. but it may be possible at 7 months out. pixie dust....

Depends on when you go. I had no problem switching a GV from my home resort (SSR) to AKV at the 7-month mark for next March. That's before Spring break season, which is in April. Based on what I've seen on other boards, it's probably harder in the summer and pretty near impossible during Spring break season or December.

Probably not as hard at SSR as BWV. BWV only has seven GV. OKW has more, but they require fewer points to book. SSR has several and they require more points to book.
